Welcome to The Gift Guides 2018! I bloody love Christmas and gift buying so a comprehensive beauty gift guide was a no brainer. As with my regular blog and Instagram recommendations, everything featured in my gift guides I have held in my hands and would purchase for my own gal pals, family and special people. All links are to Australian websites but all products are available world wide. Prices are also in Australian dollars.

This guide covers everything of absolute decadence and luxury; a round up beautiful, thoughtful pieces for recipients you want to treat to something special.

1. Lancome La Rose A Poudrer- Starlight Sparkle – $100

It’s hard to believe this beauty is even a highlighter. This iconic powder has returned in 2018 in a limited edition gold after everyone and their mum went crazy for it in 2017. It’s a stunning soft gold powder that you aren’t going to want to use but you really should because it is beautiful on the skin. 4. Fornasetti Bacio Candle – $270/$430/$770

Fornasetti candles are the height of decadence and a really special gift. They are housed in stunning illustrated ceramic cases and are a work of art for the home once the candle is finished. The handcrafted candles are made from vegetable wax and come in three sizes. I adore the Bacio candle with notes of thyme, lavender, cedarwood, incense and labdanum. 300 g candle offers 60 – 80 hours burn time, 900 g candle offers 100 hours burn time and 1.9 kg candle offers 180 – 200 hours burn time. Pictured is the Bacio 1.9kg candle. Shop here.

8. Foreo Luna Fofo – $149

Luna Fofo is unlike any cleansing device I’ve tried before. Not only does it effectively cleanse your skin with antibacterial silicone bristles, but it analyses your skin and it’s hydration levels in order to determine the perfect cleansing routine. Each skin analysis is saved to a profile in your Foreo app and syncs to your Fofo device for a custom routine. The skin analyser is made up of hypoallergenic, 24k gold plated sensors embedded in the back of the device. This is the perfect gift for the skincare junkie in your life. Shop here.

9. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4 – $117

Can Hourglass do any wrong? I strongly believe the answer is no. This year’s Ambient Lighting Edit is housed in a metallic pink compact and features four best selling powders and two exclusive powders. All six powders are formulated with the Hourglass Photoluminescent Technology to capture and diffuse light for skin that looks lit from within. I adore these powders and have too many to count. This palette is also cruelty free, vegan and gluten free.
